About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Incident Response in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. This is a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and shift activity logs.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Pay & schedule

Pay Rate: $29.30 / Hour. Schedule: Thursday 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Friday 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Sunday 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM.
