Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Hazelwood, MO. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
