About the Role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Monterey, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government parking location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. Schedule
- Daytime shifts: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Hours: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Pay
$21.00 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, parking patrons, and municipal staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
- Conduct regular and random patrols of parking facilities, lots, structures, access points, and surrounding perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, or policy concerns
- Monitor parking areas for suspicious activity, vehicle-related concerns, and access issues, and report observations through established communication and reporting procedures
- Respond to incidents, parking-related disputes, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional assistance when needed
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
