About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Tallahassee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

• Thursday: 07:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and potential loss-prevention concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, and documentation of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
