About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Checkpoints in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Use technology to document observations and assist visitors and employees while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology workplace while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and directing guests to appropriate check-in processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as appropriate.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns according to post orders.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $40.95/Hour

Schedule: Day Time, Monday through Friday, 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM
