About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Checkpoint in Chesapeake, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, perimeter, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, access issues, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and documenting activities as required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate professionally with site stakeholders, and support a positive environment for a large-scale technology operations location.

Requirements

• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may be necessary prior to employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: guard card, access control experience, CPR certification.

Pay

$19.00 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time: Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
