Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Checkpoints

About the Role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This role involves responding to security-related concerns, clear communication, and exceptional customer service as part of Allied Universal’s agile and innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating professionally with site contacts and leadership.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred: Ability to lift more than 20 pounds and comfort using a computer or tablet.

Pay

$19.32 per hour.

• Thursday: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
• Friday: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
• Monday: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
