Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Licensed Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Licensed Patrol Driver in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain orderly entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual activity in accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to leadership and site personnel.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.

$22.28 per hour.
