As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Licensed Patrol Driver in Garland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and promptly report observations to appropriate site personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time position. Monday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM (noon to midnight).
