Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Licensed Driver

About the Role

As a Full Time Unarmed Security Officer with driving responsibilities in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires a valid New York State driver’s license and a commitment to exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access control procedures, and reporting of suspicious activity or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• A valid New York State driver’s license.
• A New York State Security Guard License.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Pay

$23.44 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
