Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Driver Security Officer in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense and more. This driving position involves monitoring and patrolling an aerospace and defense location, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Pay

$17.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Daytime shifts: Monday through Friday, 06:45 AM – 02:45 PM.
