As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate store personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity and supports an orderly shopping environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour
