As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Bayway Dr in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a chemical and petrochemical location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns, and promptly communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
