About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location in Mauldin, SC, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and report unusual conditions, unauthorized persons, damaged property, and potential hazards through required communication and reporting procedures.
- Control access for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements and maintain accurate activity logs.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Access control and badge experience.
- Alarm panel experience.
- Customer service experience.

$19.50 / hour
