Security Officer Full Time Unarmed

About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Operations in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access protocols at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain applicable logs and records in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
