As a Security Officer Full Time Tablet Assisted Patrol Driver in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail café location, including dining areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located (must be at least 21 years of age).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles (this position requires 21+).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.55 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
