Security Officer Driver Based Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and help verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following site protocols for visitor processing and credential checks.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or operational hazards observed during patrols to the appropriate site personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
