Job Description
As a Security Officer / Driver in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and document daily events, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports.
- Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with evacuations and/or restricted access procedures, and helping to maintain orderly operations during changing conditions.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- This site has limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
