Security Officer Full Time Service Desk

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Using communication skills and technology, you will help maintain an organized, professional environment while supporting security-related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the logistics and distribution location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue badges as authorized, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Receive and route calls, deliveries, and inquiries; communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front-desk activity and report suspicious activity, policy concerns, and/or access issues to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Friday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
