Security Officer Full Time - Plant Access

About the role

As a Full-Time Security Officer - Plant Access in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial environments. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service while contributing to a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pepper spray certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card or license.
• Access control or badge experience.

Pay

$14.00 / hour
