Security Officer Full Time Patrol Guard

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Guard in Millington, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or site concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, helping to support access control processes, visitor logs, and/or badge verification requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in written reports, including information related to doors, gates, trailers, and other location-specific security-related conditions.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Good observation and communication skills.
