Security Officer Full Time Patrol Guard

As a Security Officer Full Time in Eden Prairie, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas to help to control access, verify authorized presence, and support visitor and vendor screening practices as directed by site policies.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by communicating professionally with staff and/or emergency responders, documenting incidents, and assisting with traffic, parking, and general site order as needed.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Skills

• Computer literacy is preferred.
• Customer service skills are preferred.
• First aid/CPR certification is preferred.
