Security Officer Full Time Patrol First Aid

About the Role

As a Full Time Patrol First Aid Security Officer in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and public transportation. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will respond to security-related concerns, report observations, and collaborate with site personnel and the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, pedestrian access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout assigned locations, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with transit personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the public.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• State, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$29.93 / hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM
