Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver - Auto Center

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Driver Security Officer in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, drive company vehicles as needed, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established escalation procedures.
• Help maintain a professional presence while observing site activity and reporting facility hazards, policy violations, and security-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$21.60 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
• Position Type: Full Time
