Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, equipment areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
Report hazards, damaged barriers, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
For driving positions only, possess a valid driver’s license.
