Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, monitor for security-related concerns, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and communicate observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

$19.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 05:00 AM – 05:00 PM
• Saturday: 05:00 AM – 05:00 PM
• Sunday: 05:00 AM – 05:00 PM
