Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Driver Patrol Security Officer in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support site entry and exit procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
