Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

About the Role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Security Officer in Castle Hayne, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Education. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. This role requires strong communication and customer service to respond to security-related concerns and assist students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary across campus locations.
• Report security-related concerns, unusual activity, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and/or supervisors.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and campus event support as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred qualifications: customer service experience and comfort using a computer or tablet.

$15.00 / Hour

• Monday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
