Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Driver Security Officer in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized personnel and visitors, and documenting relevant information.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while collaborating with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$19.48 / hour

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
