About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Driver Security Officer in Tuscaloosa, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. In this role at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the mall common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report security-related concerns, hazards, or policy violations according to location procedures.
  • Maintain detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or escalations to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$15.00 / Hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
  • Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
