Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support daily security-related operations through strong communication and customer service.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control processes in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal standards.
- Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation, and relay relevant information during shift changes to support continuity of security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
