Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage manufacturing location in Hershey, PA, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and security-related hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Wednesday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thursday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
