Security Officer Full Time Patrol Communications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, policy concerns, and maintenance‑related observations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, visitors, and responding public‑service personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 lb (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
