Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Communications in Novi, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, entrances, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Assist with traffic flow, delivery coordination, and employee or visitor directions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
- Hold CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$20.60 per hour

- Monday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
