Security Officer Full Time Parking Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Parking Patrol Security Officer in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and parking facility users by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, parking-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking areas, entrances, exits, pedestrian walkways, business spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor parking facility conditions, access points, lighting concerns, and unusual activity, and report observations, hazards, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with traffic flow, visitor directions, and access control while maintaining professional communication and accurate incident documentation.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
