Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About the Role

As a Full Time Patrol Security Officer in Los Indios, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. This role provides exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional response to security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken.
• Communicate security-related concerns, unusual activity, maintenance issues, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision following established procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$13.92 per hour.
