Security Officer Full Time Patrol

About the Role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm systems, and assist with badge and visitor procedures. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture that puts people first.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, business perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site requirements.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
