As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response Specialist in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government office location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, entry points, public-facing service areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.87 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
