About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Bank in Westlake Village, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in financial institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help protect people, property, and operations while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining accurate logs and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency responders while documenting security-related incidents and observations.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
