Security Officer Full Time Emergency Housing

As a Security Officer Full Time NYS Licensed Unarmed Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government services location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to visitors and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government social services location
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common areas, grounds, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with orderly entry and directing individuals to appropriate services or staff
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and daily reports, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License
• Have at least one year of security-related experience
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

• Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

• Schedule: DayTime – Mon 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Tue 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Fri 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Sat 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Sun 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
