Security Officer Full Time Residential

About the role

As a Full Time Residential Security Officer in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in residential settings. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns in accordance with site policies.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.59 per hour.

• Thursday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Friday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
