About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Perimeter Inspection in Bartow, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. Conduct routine patrols, drive as needed, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Support a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliability while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle access in accordance with site-specific entry requirements and access-control procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activity, and other security-related concerns.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Guard card or state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.75 / hour

• Monday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
