About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Perimeter Inspection in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, associates, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the location perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities, access control, crowd management, and incident documentation when appropriate.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
