Security Officer - Full Time Driver Patrol

About the Role

As a Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Security Officer in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing, parking, office, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by following post orders, reporting maintenance or facility concerns, and completing required activity reports.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Access Control/Badge Experience
• Alarm Panel Experience

$19.00 / Hour

• Thursday: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
