Security Officer Full Time - Driver Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, problem-solve, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food production location, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position).
• Guard Card/License (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$17.50 per hour.

• Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
