As a Security Officer, your attentiveness, efficiency and commitment will ensure your hotel remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination. Hourly Rate: $29.93 What You Will Be Doing Provide security, emergency, and first aid assistanceImplement, as directed by the Security Manager, all policies and programs related to Security ServicesGuide and support all leaders and colleagues with respect to safety & security proceduresEducate all new Fairmont colleagues on safety & securityAssist in the training of all new security officersCreate and maintain proper documentation on any incidents reported by guests or colleaguesEnsure adherence to Lost & Found procedures including accepting items with proper documentation, assisting colleagues & guests with inquiries, maintaining accurate logs and following retention guidelines. Investigate and follow up on any reports made by guests or colleaguesReview the business continuity plan with the security manager and ensure that all updates are communicated to colleagues, and that all necessary training is providedConduct lock interrogations and assist Engineering Department with lock repairsConduct foot and vehicle patrols Schedule: Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
