Security Officer| Full-Time

About the role

The Security Officer at Thompson Austin - 5th and Brazos is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of both hotel guests and employees. This individual must adhere to safety and security standards and complete incident reports as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and security protocols
• Complete incident reports as required

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances
• Flexible scheduling ability, including weekends and holidays
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Previous security experience preferred
• Valid first-aid/CPR & AED certification
• Valid Texas (Dept. of Public Safety – TOPS) Level 2 Security Officer certification (must be completed prior to date of hire)
