Security Officer - Full Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location where you will serve as the front desk presence, greeting visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, handling visitor interactions, and supporting security-related procedures for a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor lobby and entrance activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and verify visitor, vendor, and delivery information in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support front desk operations by answering questions, documenting incidents, maintaining daily logs, and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
