Security Officer Full-Time

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to students, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, school-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting school administrators and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate security-related observations to designated school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
