Security Officer Full Time Access Management

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Management in Collierville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor and vehicle activity. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Verify visitor, contractor, and delivery driver credentials; manage entry and exit points; and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Monitor access control systems, alarms, and assigned entry areas, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned logistics and distribution areas, including entrances, docks, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
